The Malanotti De Caldes family from northern Italy produced fine fabrics and rugs since the 11th century. Mario Gagliardi, designer and grandson of Eugenie Malanotti De Caldes, continues this heritage to celebrate fine rug artisanship under the brand De Caldes.
