The Malanotti family goes back to the 11th century. Patrons of art and culture, they traded fine silks and made fine wine (in honor of the family now designated Piave Malanotte DOCG) in the Val di Sole, in Treviso and in Venice. Mario Gagliardi, designer and founder of Mario & Casa, is the grandson of Eugenie Malanotti. Rooted in the tradition of the Malanotti family, Mario & Casa continues to use only the finest fabrics and materials.
